I am wanting to remove a link from a Rolex 93160A bracelet. However, on the link to be removed, the screw is just spinning in its seat - I suspect a stripped thread on either the screw itself or the holding piece (or both). Today I noticed the clasp was not lining up on my wrist the way I wanted so decided to move a link from 6 o’clock to 12 o’clock I got two screws that partially come out. They continue to turn but won’t come out at all. They are usually tight if they have Loctite (thread locker) on the screw threads. Heating up will soften the thread locker, however I wouldn't use a lighter/flame as it can discolour the steel I have found that putting under hot water for a minute or two works well.
